Support the organisation of any catering outside of the provided lunch meals, for all athletes and attendees e.g. optional dinners
The WDG2023 drivers operate our shuttle service for any athletes between the campus and the “RheinEnergieStadion” bus stop during peak hours.
Be the first point of contact where athletes and attendees from all over the world are welcomed, making sure their experience at the Games is smooth and unforgettable.
To participate in the WDG, all athletes must be classified before and during the Games. Athlete’s measurements are taken here, so we, therefore, prefer people of average height for this job.
Help create content for our social media channels, our website and other platforms in both German and English.
The medallion realm is yours! Organise all the official medal ceremonies onsite at each respective sports venue.
Ensure the smooth running of the media point. Help produce content, as well as organising photo, interview and press meetings.
Be a part of the sports competitions, ensuring the perfect conditions are met for all athletes. Volunteer as a referee, judge or a sideline assistant.
Ensure the smooth operation of the sport facilities. Your role is to support the venue manager in preparing the perfect sporting conditions for the athletes, both indoors and outdoors.
Be a part of IT support in the Tech Team. This includes audio-visual support for the O/C Ceremonies and the various live streams.
Support the briefing, overseeing and general wellbeing of all volunteers throughout the week at the volunteer centres, including the snack supply.
Organise and supervise a “non-athlete” provision zone/system for any accompanying children and minors staying on campus as part of the WDG.
Support the execution of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, including athlete/country organisation, and any supporting acts.
